"Each member of the Eden dormitory has taken a bite out of the sinful apple known as "Senioritis."
We have all had our rooms look as if they had been ransacked, and we have been caught numerous times talking away a good hour
after lights out. We have all been told to "get on with it" by our favorite protagonist, Mr. Sharp, knowing full well inside
that we are at fault, even if we are fustrated. Little images that stick in our mind, like rubber cement to dry palms, like
Emir's parabola-like smile, like Chad or Matteo playing away the hours on their computers, Bahman having his night-time tea,
or even Sinan gently picking out strings on the guitar creating a soft, melodious harmony which fills the Eden. You won't
remember that first math test or what event took place in the third week of January; but the faces from the dorm will stick
and act as sources of recollection when we move on in the future and seek happiness. For now, though, even through the trivial
fustrations of everyday life, I like to think that we achieve this happiness, every time we are touched by one of those faces,
after we return home to Eden after a long day of school. in a way, we are all birds, seeking refuge from the cold, and the
Eden dorm is our salvation where all come together and forget our individual, frigid realities."

"so here`s a lesson i learned_recently. when you are looking for someone so badly and
someone does catch your attention, you tend to give the person too much credit. you find them so perfect in your eyes that
you dont recognize the flaws about the person.. or you just tend to ignore them.. or just say that you are accepting those
flaws for the sake of being a part of that person.. the thing is.. you give so much of yourself to this person who you thought
was so perfect but in the end realize that that person could have been anybody.. it`s just that, that person appeared in front
of you at one of your weakest points in life, which you might not even have realized... that person was just there to pull
those feelings that you had in you all along... and that person could have been anybody... when the right person does really
come along, it will be a surprise.. for both of you and it won`t be a cruel chase.."
